PETER BUSA ABSTRACT OIL PAINTING: Peter Busa (Italian/American 1914-1985). Large abstract oil on canvas, ca 1950’s. Very large colorful painting measures 48 inches x 78 inches. Busa lived in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania and New York and was known for abstracts and murals. Good condition.
TIFFANY STUDIOS BRONZE #5201 LAMP BASE with LUNDBERG FAVRILE ART GLASS SHADE: Signed Tiffany Studios, New York, bronze lamp base, stamped 5201. Circular base, tripod design of three legs terminating in paw feet and adjustable telescoping center column. Three arms to hold a shade. Telescopes to height of 21 inches. Lundberg Favrile Damascene cased art glass shade, signed with date number 2007. Lundberg Studios is a premiere art glass company established in 1970 in Davenport, California. Base has original patina with original socket and wiring. Good condition.
1954 SEEBURG MODEL “R” SELECTO-MATIC HI-FI JUKE BOX: Ca 1955/56. Plays 100 Selections, 45rpm records. Five speakers, hi fidelity sound. Visible mechanism. Glass panes and chrome “lightning Bolts” in speaker grille. Chrome boomerangs on sides. Reconditioned and working. Purchased in 2000. With key for mechanisms compartment. Good condition.
18TH/19TH C EUROPEAN RELIGIOUS ICON: Gold gilt carved wood self-frame with hand painted religious figure and inscription in Latin. Image approximately 9 inches x 7 ½ inches. Measures 19 inches tall overall. Some loss to gilt and age crack. Otherwise good condition for age.
LARGE PORTRAIT OF FERDINAND VII, KING OF SPAIN by VICENTE LOPEZ: Oil on canvas three quarter portrait of Fernando VII, King of Spain, in full dress uniform with his medals and sword. Brass plaque with artist name and sitter. Image measures 35 inches x 28 ½ inches. Ornate wide gilt frame. Painting is relined and has significant in-painting with the exception of the face. Some loss to frame as well.
Vicente López Y Portaña (Spanish 1772-1850) was a Spanish painter, considered one of the best portrait painters of his time. In 1802 King Charles IV appointed him an honorary court painter. In 1814 López was called to the court of Ferdinand VII, the Spanish king, who appointed him official court painter and received a royal appointment. Shortly thereafter he succeeded Goya as Royal Court Painter during the reign of Ferdinand VII.
The reign of Ferdinand VII (1784-1833) was one of the most complex and important in the history of Spain. It was characterized by a popular war against French occupation and by the struggle of liberal groups to establish a constitutional monarchy. Ferdinando VII (Spanish1784 –1833) was twice King of Spain: in 1808 and again from 1813 to his death. He was known to his supporters as "the Desired" and to his detractors as the "Felon King". The reign of Ferdinand VII (1784-1833) was one of the most difficult. His reputation among historians is very low. He proved in many ways the basest king in Spanish history.

FREDERICK M. FENETTI STILL LIFE OIL PAINTING: Frederick Fenety (1854-1915, Massachusetts/Nova Scotia/Italy). Large oil on canvas. Still life with peonies, plums, grapes and bowl of cherries. Signed lower right “F. Fenetti” Image measures 20 inches x 40 inches. Wide 7 ½ inch ornate gilt frame. Minor paint loss flecks on lower left.
BALLY 1976 “FREEDOMPINBALL MACHINE: Bally Manufacturing Corporation, Chicago, Illinois. “Freedom” W-1042-146 #1066. All American theme with George Washington and Uncle Sam on the playfield and patriotic cabinet decoration with eagles, shield and stars and stripes. Four player with drop targets, 2 spinners, 2 kick out holes and 3 red white and blue pop bumpers. All original restored condition. Purchased in 2000. With original paperwork manual and mechanical instructions. Also game playing instructions.
TOWLE “CRAFTSMAN” PATTERN PARTIAL STERLING FLATWARE: Consists of 58 pieces including 9 dinner knives, 7 butter knives, 5 table spoons, 14 teaspoons, 9 dinner forks, 9 salad forks, 1 sugar spoon, 1 gravy ladle, 1 olive fork and 2 piece carving set. Approximately 48.5 weighable troy ounces. Good used condition. Not monogrammed.
JASPER D’AMBROSI BRONZE SCULPTURE: (Italian/American 1926-1985). Figure of “Aries”. Patinated bronze bronze figure of a nude man with large ram horns seated on a tree stump. Marble base. Signed and dated “J. D’Ambrosi 1978 -26/40”. Measures 12 ½ inches tall x 10 inches wide x 7 inches deep. Good condition.
15TH/16TH C CONTINENTAL RELIGIOUS BRONZE CUP OR HANDLED MORTAR: Top carved band with embossed lettering in Latin “Hail Mary Full of Grace”. Rope design handle. Measures 4 inches tall x 4 ¾ inches in diameter. Deep rich patina. Stress crack on base.
INDIAN WHITE JADE CARVED DAGGER HANDLE: Gold plate wire decoration in Mughal design with inset red and green stones. Measures 5 ½ inches long. Good condition.
JEFFERSON REVERSE PAINTED SNOW SCENE LANDSCAPE TABLE LAMP: Large 17 inch diameter dome shade with yellow house, fence and trees in the snow. Yellow and blue sky. Base is signed on rim. Bronze finish lamp base. Measures 21 inches tall. Chip on inside edge.
PERSIAN MAHAL PALACE SIZE ORIENTAL RUG: Ca late 1800’s/early 1900’s. Hand woven wool with 8 narrow borders and one wide turtle border on dark navy ground. Large diamond shape center medallion on cream and red grounds. Very detailed floral and spray design on red ground. Colors of reds, blues, greens, salmon, rust, tan and cream. Early attractive colorful rug measures 17 feet 2 inches x 10 feet 7 inches. Good condition.
19TH C ENGLISH or FRENCH LEATHER TOP WRITING DESK: Marquetry and string inlay, tooled leather top. Bronze ormolu applied decorations and gilt painted highlights. Three drawers. Two locks changed. Measures 57 inches wide x 29 inches deep x 29 ½ inches tall. With old key. Some veneer loss and ormolu loss.
RODOLFO MORALESMIXED MEDIA COLLAGE: Ca 1995. (Mexico 1925-2001). Abstract with profile face, collage with ribbons and applied textiles. Signed lower right. Image measures 14 inches x 20 inches; 17 inches x 23 inches overall. Pierced metal frame. Sold with Certificate of Authenticity signed by Dora Luz Martinez of Arte de Oaxaca, Mexico. Some discoloration in face and ribbons lifting in places.
ROYAL COPENHAGEN FLORA DANICA PATTERN PORCELAIN DINNER SERVICE PIECES: Consisting of two 9 ½ inch bowls with Convoloulus Arvensis flower and second one with Cerasus Avium L. Both with rim chips and hairline. Four 10 inch dinner plates. One Erica Cinerea L with rim chips and hairline. Second one Lamium Intermedium Fr, rim chips. Third Trifolium Pretense L with rim chips and hairline. Papaver Dubium L with rim chip. One 8 ½ inch bowl with rim chips. One 14 ½ inch oval platter Hieracium Auranticum with rim chips. One 15 1/2 inch oval platter Carlina Vulgaris, no visible damage. Large platter good condition. Most other pieces have some loss.
19TH C GERMAN PHOTOGRAPHER’S PROP or ADVERTISING TOY HORSE DISPLAY: Large model of a Parade horse. Most likely from the Thuringia region of Germany. This region was the most important area to produce toy horses in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Hide or skin covered body in prancing stance, resting on a painted platform with metal wheels. Horse with original saddle, harness, bridle and feather plume on its head. Measures 5 feet tall by 80 inches long overall. Original painted platform. The earliest recorded toys covered with animal skin were toy horses in the late sixteenth century. In the nineteenth century skin-covered toy animals, particularly horses, were produced in France, Spain and Switzerland. The largest number were made in Germany, and skin-covered horses on rockers, platforms and wheels were exported to America, England, Russia, parts of the Orient and Australia from the 1870s to the 1930s. Just as the German skin horses had fine legs and neat heads, similar attention to detail was applied to harnessing. Some minor splits. Good condition.
PERSIAN BIDJAR PALACE SIZE ORIENTAL RUG: Hand woven wool with 8 narrow borders and 1 wide floral border on navy ground. Red field with detailed overall floral designs. Colors of reds, blues, greens, salmon, orange, gray, tan and cream. Measures approximately 18 feet x 10 feet.
1830’S SILHOUETTE & WATER PAINTING ON PAPER: Believe to be Southeastern Massachusetts. American ca 1830. Full length images of two finely attired gentlemen with top hats and umbrellas standing on a dock with ship in background. Hand painted details with dock pilings and ship and shadows on the ground. Silhouettes with faint white outline details. Signed with initials HR. Image 13 ½ inches x 9 ½ inches. Original period frame and backing. Good condition with some spotting and foxing.
SIGNED QUEZAL ART GLASS URN: American Ca 1901-1925. “King Tut” pattern. Footed urn with flared rim and inverted lid with finial. Overall iridescent swirl decoration in blues, gold, amber and green on white ground. Gold aurene inside rim. Round foot in shades of iridescent pinks and gold. Etched signature on base “Quezal”. Measures 14 ¼ inches tall.
EARLY ANTIQUE CARVED CAROUSEL HORSE: Ca 1860’s/70’s. “Jumper” style horse. Maker not identified. This piece was purchased at a fund raiser auction in Cutty Hunk, Martha’s Vineyard in 1903. The auction was to raise money for newer horses for the carousel. From the oldest original platform carousel in Oak Bluffs, Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts. The carousel was originally located in Coney Island, New York City before being moved to the island in the 1880s. The carousel was built in 1876 by Charles Dare, a talented New York toy maker renowned for his contributions to early carousel manufacturing. With brass pole, head tilted, short mane, carved wooden tail. Old repairs and loss.
RUSSIAN MOUNTED BLACK RAVEN TAXIDERMY TROPHY: Large black raven perched on ram’s horn and mounted on papier mache base. Bird measures approximately 13 inches tall x 24 inches long. Good condition.
EARLY GLASS CASED MECHANICAL ELECTRIC MUSIC BOX/AUTOMATON: A perpetual motion type invention. Includes music box cylinder, lights, figures and birds. Dome top brass bound glass case. Some light bulbs out and machinery needs to be oiled to run smoothly. Measures 31 inches long x 19 inches deep x 18 ½ inches tall. Unusual one of a kind piece.
18KT WHITE GOLD EMERALD & DIAMOND PENDANT: Center cut emerald approximately 3cts. Surrounded by 63 small round and marquise diamonds in star pattern (including loop mount). Each diamond approximately 2 points for a total diamond weight of approximately 1 ct. Total weight approximately 4.8 grams. Good condition.
PRESENTATION 18KT YELLOW GOLD, DIAMOND & RUBY POCKET WATCH BY JAMES MC CABE: Hunter’s case with 70 rubies and 87 diamonds in Arabic script “To Our Great Leader” Presented to the King of Kuwait in 1879. Key wind and key set. Face signed “Ja McCabe, Royal Exchange, London 09085”. 18kt hallmarks. Works marked. Jewel movement not known. Watch case total weight approximately 54.27 penny weight. Watch not working and crystal and cover loose. Among notable owners of McCabe watches was Lord Horatio Nelson and the first President of the United States – George Washington who purchased his McCabe pocket watch in Philadelphia in 1793. Watch not working and crystal and cover loose.
MT. WASHINGTON ART GLASS FIG SUGAR SHAKER: Textured “bark” surface in clear glass. Hand painted pansies decoration. Textured silver plate top. Measures approximately 4 inches tall. Good condition. with very small chip inside top rim edge.
LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH C CARVED WOOD BEAGLE DOG: Finely carved and painted figure of a Beagle dog. Measures 14 inches from nose to tail and about 10 inches tall. Good condition with fine stress crack base of tail.
19TH C DUMAIGE FRENCH CLASSICAL BRONZE FIGURAL GROUP: Henri Etienne Dumaige (France 1830-1888). Two Classical Grecian female figures or Goddesses on square base. Signed on base H. Dumaige. Measures 17 ½ inches tall. Good condition.
AMERICAN VICTORIAN TRIPLE DOOR BOOKCASE: Ca 1870’s. Walnut and burled walnut panel highlights. Step back base. Large center section, three drawers below. Measures 77 inches wide x 64 inches tall x 19 inches deep.
18TH/19TH C NEW ENGLAND COUNTRY PRIMITIVE BLUE PAINTED JELLY CUPBOARD: Original blue paint. Single flat door. Three interior shelves. Measures 48 inches tall x 48 inches wide x 17 inches deep. Cut nails. Good condition.
SOUTHEASTERN MASSACHUSETTS CANADA FIELD GOOSE DECOY: Large original Canada goose decoy used in the fields. Measures 33 inches long. Original paint. Neck repaired, legs broken off and cracks. As found condition.

PERSIAN KERMAN TREE OF LIFE ORIENTAL RUG: Ca early 20th century. Hand woven wool with five narrow and wide borders. Wide border with floral design on light blue ground. Center tree of life on light gold ground. Detailed design with flowing tree of life with figures of deer, birds, flowers and plants. Soft colors of burgundy, blues, greens, tan, brown, salmon, golds and cream. Measures approximately 6 feet 6 inches x 4 feet 6 inches. Some low spots.
NATURAL SOUTH AMERICAN AMETHYST GEODE DOUBLE CATHEDRAL SHAPE MINERAL SPECIMEN: Probably Brazil, millions of years old. Large double amethyst crystal quarts cluster lining the interior of a double rock. Geodes are geological secondary structures which occur in certain sedimentary and volcanic rocks. They are themselves of sedimentary origin and are formed by chemical precipitation. Piece measures 28 inches tall x 4 inches wide x 9 inches deep. Some chips on base.
