19TH C CARVED ANTLER: Later identified as a rare Plains Indian quirt whip handle. Primitive decoration with moose, elk and bear carving. Measures 15 inches long. Carved cross and line decoration in red and black.

GRANT WOOD SIGNED LITHOGRAPH “APPROACHING STORM”. American 1892-1942. Ca 1940’s. One of the major American Regionalist painters along with Thomas Hart Benton and John Stuart Curry, Grant Wood was born in Anamosa, Iowa, and spent his childhood in Cedar Rapids. Unlike Curry and Benton, he never moved East but remained in the Middle West where he found inspiration for his paintings of prosperous farms and people reflecting idealized American values. Grey tone scene with farmers in hay field with storm clouds overhead. Signed in pencil lower right. Image 12 inches x 9 inches.
B. PRABHA SCULPTURE IN BRONZE: Rare sculpture by well-known female Indian artist B. Prabha, verdigris finish. B Prabha is known for female portrait, figure, genre easel and mural painting. B. Prabha was a practicing female artist in an age where women were un-apologetically oppressed, and it is no surprise therefore that Prabha used her own position as an artist to make strong comments on the same. Signed lower back. Prabha worked mainly in oil and is best known for graceful elongated pensive figures of rural women. Her husband was B. Vithal, a well-known Indian sculptor. Very few sculptures by B. Prabha exist and are in very prestigious collections. Measures 15 inches tall. Signed lower back. Provenance: Bought by Dr. Harinder Singh Kanda from the estate of B. Prabha. Certified by Nayana Sarmalkar and B.Probha’s legal heir Sunil N. Badgelwar.
PITTSBURG REVERSE PAINTED LAKES OF KILLARNEY (IRELAND) TABLE LAMP: Ca early 20th century. Chipped Ice reverse painted lamp marked Killarney Lake on shade rim. Mountain and lake scene painted on interior and exterior of shade, which adds depth. Shade measures 16 inches in diameter. Base original to the lamp. Lamp overall 23 inches tall. Good condition.
HALF SIZE MACY’S LEADED GLASS SECTIONAL BANNISTER STACKABLE BOOKCASE: Ca 19th/20th century. Unusual size, three sections with leaded glass door fronts. Measures 17 inches wide x 45 inches tall x 11 inches deep. Plain red oak original finish. Signed Good condition.
SIGNED LOUIS COMFORT TIFFANY FAVRILE CANDLE LAMP: Golden iridescent, ribbed and swirled base with purple and blue shaded bottom. Base with polished pontil mark, signed "L. C. T.” Favrile. Topped with a matching ruffled shade in bright iridescent gold aurene. Pull chain with acorn finial. Measures 12 inches tall with 7 ¼ inch diameter shade. All original good condition.

Original medium finish, branded signature. Measures 31 ½ inches tall x 27 inches wide x 23 inches deep. Good condition. Replaced upholstery.
CHRISTOFLE/FRANCE TALISMAN NOIRE FLATWARE SET: Silver plate and lacque de chine black enamel. Total of 215 pieces. Service for 24, of 8-piece place settings, plus 23 serving pieces. Overall good condition. Some minor enamel loss of a few dinner knives.
LALIQUE CHAMPS ELYSEES ART GLASS CENTER BOWL: Green and clear frosted center bowl. Molded oak leaf form. Engraved Lalique France 319/999. Original label Lalique Paris. Measures 18 inches long x 10 inches wide x 7 ¼ inches tall. Good condition.
RUDI STERN NEON MIXED MEDIA SCULPTURE: Ca 1975. Piece consists of various shapes and colors (blues, pink, green, yellow, coral, red and orange) neon lighted tubes set into a black lacquer base in a plexiglass box measures 16 inches x 16 inches x 14 inches tall. On matching black lacquer pedestal. Measures overall 50 inches tall. Rudi Stern (American 1936-2006) was a multimedia artist. In the 1960s Stern became famous for his avant-garde light shows and advocacy of video art. In the 1970s he was responsible for reviving the dying craft of neon which was all the rage in the 1930s in the United States. In 1972 he founded the studio and gallery Let There Be Neon. It was here that Stern designed lighting for theatre, opera, television and films along with pieces for music groups like the Doors and the Byrds. Working good condition.
HENRI ROBERT BRESIL PAINTING: Ca 1990. (Haiti 1952-1999). One of Haiti’s best artists. Very large colorful oil on canvas with palm trees and flamingoes. Title “Waterfall”. Signed lower right H.R. Bresil. Measures 70 inches x 69 inches. Collectors love his “green jungles” and his “flamingoes”. Bresil has exhibited in Haiti, Japan, United States, Italy, Puerto Rico and Switzerland.

ACOMA NATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN BOTTLE FORM POTTERY VASE: Ca early 20th century. Ornate geometric and symbolic design on buff ground. Colors of brown, orange, gold and black. Bulbous bottle form shape. Measures 14 inches tall x 11 inches wide. Small rim chip.
NATIVE AMERICAN ACOMA POTTERY POT: New Mexico ca 19th century. Large pottery piece, 13 inches tall x 14 ½ inches wide. Acoma pottery is emblematic of the lifestyle of people who make it. It typically features thin walls, fluted rims, hand painted animal motifs, geometric patterns usually rendered in stark black and white, or muted warm colors, and is unglazed. Because of the dry climate and the type of clay native to the land, pottery produced in this region is both lightweight and durable. The clay is naturally gray, but appears white in most Acoma pottery because it is layered with Kaolin, a type of soft white clay. Pigments are derived from natural resources such as minerals, plants, and other types of clays. Damaged with missing pieces.
JAMALI ABSTRACT FACE PAINTING: Ca 20th/21st century. Fresco Tempora multi colored image of a woman’s face painted ca 1991 during which time the artist painted with his feet. Born Aqdas Hussain Khan in Pakistan in 1944 is an American avant-garde artist. His artistic style has been termed Mystical Expressionism. is known for his unique, organic textures, experimental techniques, and figurative paintings of women. Currently his bestselling works are pigment on cork. He is a Sufi Muslim, and his spirituality is highly related to his art. Image 26 inches x 20 inches. Measures overall 34 inches x 28 inches. Work is museum mounted and custom framed in 22kt gold leaf. Original gallery label on back of artist’s Florida studio. With 1992 Certificate of Authenticity and Provenance signed by the artist. Minor loss to frame.

19TH AMERICAN MASSACHUSETTS MAHOGANY FEDERAL/SHERATON SIDEBOARD SERVER: Ca 1800-1810. Flame mahogany and mahogany with thin band inlay and carved highlights. Six leg column design with cookie tops, back splash and brass pulls. Five drawers above arched opening, two cupboard doors below. Measures 42 inches tall x 74 inches wide x 21 inches deep. Pine secondary wood. No key. Sideboard all original no placements or repairs. Good condition.
ROBERT J. DODZO ZIMBABWE SHONA SCULPTURE BUST OF YOUNG AFRICAN WOMAN: Bust of African woman with braided pony tail and wearing a necklace and earrings. Carved in verdite stone in shades of green, black and rust. Verdite is a semi-precious stone formed over 3 million years ago and found in deposits in Zimbabwe. The Shona people of Zimbabwe have been sculpting stone into works of art for nearly 1000 years. These contemporary sculptures portray esteemed value in the Shona culture of family, love, life and nature. Signed on side by R. J. Dodzo. Measures 29 inches tall x 15 inches wide. Good condition.
SAM EARLE PAINTING: Sam Earle (Boston, Ma born 1960) mixed media on board. Clowns and comic strip items. Overlapping images with tigers, clowns, acrobats, super heroes, signs, etc. Glazed with acrylic. Measures 28 inches x 22 inches. Sam Earle’s mixed media paintings are composed of tediously layered, hand-painted transfers on hollow-core wood panels. He embellishes some images with tacks that are painted over, and then glazed with acrylic. The extensive process of his paintings reflects the eclectic nature of the artist’s inspirations. Earle’s works range in subject from circus themes to elements of antiquity mixed with his own icons and invented symbols. The work recalls the layering of Jasper Johns with the playful imagery of Claes Oldenburg. His work can be found in many private and public collections, including the DeCordova Museum and Sculpture Park and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Good condition.
